ATLANTA, April 6, 2006 – Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport welcomed its latest original, a new, state-of-the-art Crown Room Club® on Concourse C where members can enjoy a sampling of Atlanta’s distinctive culture.

This Crown Room – Delta’s first on Concourse C, seventh at Hartsfield-Jackson and 41st worldwide – allows members to:

Sit back and relax in a two-story 6,800-square-foot lounge with more than 125 seats;
Enjoy new interiors and subtle design elements that reflect Atlanta and the South, including exclusive, rotating art exhibits from local galleries managed by the Atlanta Gallery Association (www.atlantagalleryassociation.com); and
Work or unwind in the business center, quiet zone or bar/café area.

“Our newest lounge provides a convenient, comfortable and uniquely-Southern retreat for our members flying Delta and Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines into and out of the increasingly busy Concourse C,” said Betty Hollan, general manager of Delta’s Customer Lounge Programs. “We are especially excited about the Club’s unique, regional design concept, boasting distinctive flavors of the South and an art collection showcasing the works of talented, local Atlanta artists.”

Located across from Gate C26, the new Crown Room will be open daily from 5 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. Delta’s growing lounge network offers customers a quiet place to maximize their time. Amenities and services offered include personalized flight assistance, satellite TV, access to business amenities and complimentary beverages and snacks. Admission to lounges is valid for club members and up to two guests, or a spouse and children under 21 years of age.
