Playboy Model Heidi Reveals Workout Tactics For A Better Butt


Malibu, CA – 9/3/2010 - In a recent interview posted by writer Kris Gethin this late August, Playboy model Heidi Montag openly talks about how she got herself and her buttocks into photo shoot shape. “I worked my butt off. I worked harder than I ever did in my life,” says the young model, who also stars in MTV’s reality series The Hills. Heidi worked out 5 days a week and did plenty of running and stretching in addition to shorter high intensity workouts.

She credits her success to her fitness trainer Chad Waterbury. In the interview they break down the strategy for getting a bikini body. To start off Heidi talks of how it was before her training, “I was a little skinnier, scrawnier- I had no butt, it was completely flat… I wanted powerful sexy curves.” For the development of such powerful curves in her lower body she worked on doing an exercise called the Deadlift. This exercise added lean mass in her thighs and buttocks and lifted the muscles there.

Contrary to popular belief Heidi did not starve herself to get into model shape. She explains that she had to eat plenty of nutritious food to have the energy she needed for her high intensity workout routines. Also, she mentions starvation is one of the biggest misconceptions because the starved skinny look is so ironically unattractive. This is because the body parts are still not toned. Heidi prefers the healthy athletic look that shows a figure with powerful curves.

However, she did cut back on carbohydrates as her playboy photo shoot date arrived. Instead, she ate more protein rich foods, more fruits, and more vegetables. As for supplements, Heidi praised the power of fish oil, which contains healthy fats for her skin, hair, immune system, and overall health.
