Anu Hämäläinen appointed Vice President, Group Control at Wärtsilä

Ms Anu Hämäläinen has been appointed Vice President, Group Control at Wärtsilä Corporation as from 1 September 2010. She replaces Vice President, Group Control, Maj-Len Ek, who will retire in early 2011.

Hämäläinen’s duties will cover financial accounting, management reporting, taxation and parent company controlling and she will be a member of the Finance & Control management team. She is based in Helsinki, Finland and will report to CFO, Executive Vice President Raimo Lind.

During the last two years, Hämäläinen has been responsible for Group Financial Accounting within Wärtsilä. She also worked for eight years in the 90’s in Wärtsilä’s accounting and finance departments.

She has also picked up a lot of relevant experience during her career with SRV and Pohjola’s investment firm.
