The Jake Sully Avatar costume will let kids and adults look like they are participating in the Avatar Program as the Na’vi-human hybrid, Corporal Jake Sully, as he wanders through the Pandora jungle in his human clothes. It includes a khaki jacket with ruched shoulders, attached black shirt with Na’Vi style blue striped arm sleeves and a blue collar, matching khaki pants with attached tail and a blue character mask.

The Neytiri Avatar costume will allow kids and adults to take on the appearance of the princess of the Na’vi Omaticaya tribe. The Neytiri costume is available in a sexy, alluring adult size as well as a smaller version so kids can dress up as the beautiful warrior princess that can teach the sky people the knowledgeable ways of the Na’vi. It includes a body-hugging striped blue jumpsuit with attached tail, a gray waist apron, 2 sets of multi-colored wrist beads and a wrist gauntlet.

James Cameron’s Avatar was originally edged out of 3D theaters due to other scheduled 3D movie releases during its original release in December of 2009. The Avatar theater re-release starting on August 27, 2010 will feature 9 minutes of new footage that will be sprinkled throughout the movie giving viewers an extended tour of the fictional planet of Pandora. An extended version special-edition DVD of James Cameron’s Avatar from 20th Century Fox will be released in November 2010 with Jake Sully voiced by Sam Worthington and Neytiri voiced by Zoe Saldana. It will include a more expanded, “alternate reality version” of the film that is over 16 minutes longer than the original. James Cameron has already begun technical development of an Avatar sequel that will focus on the planet’s ocean environment.
