Origin Of 666, The Mark Of The Beast, Speculated Upon In A New Novel

WEBWIRE

- What is the origin of the mark of the beast, 666?
- What was the Son of God’s relationship with Lucifer before Lucifer rebelled against God?
- Why did Lucifer think he could overthrow an omnipotent being?
- How was Lucifer able to seduce so many angels into joining his cause?
- What is it like to be irrevocably alienated from a loving and luminescent creator?

The hypothetical answers to these questions can be found in a new novel by Bruce Calhoun, “THE DISCORDIA”. The book will be released in November and can be pre-ordered at www.TheDiscordia.org.

Below is a short synopsis of the book.

“THE DISCORDIA: A CHRONICLE OF LUCIFER’S REBELLION AGAINST GOD”
Driven by boundless ambition, God’s morning star enlists angels of dubious character in a conspiracy to seize the triple throne of Heaven. When God responds by entering a mysterious transcendental state, Lucifer visits the Holy Hilltop and confronts Him. The confrontation resolves nothing and Lucifer follows through with his plot. The plot fails, so the proud angel resorts to all-out war in order to take by violence what he could not acquire through intrigue. The outcome of the war is determined in a climactic battle between Lucifer and the archangel Michael. It is a battle that Lucifer rigs so that he cannot lose.
