Legendary Film Editor to appear at lafcpug, April 19

n what may evolve into a series of events on the “craft of film editing,” the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group (lafcpug) will welcome legendary film editor, Dede Allen (Bonnie and Clyde, Reds, Slapshot, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Little Big Man and many more) to the stage Wednesday, April 19, at the Gallery Theatre in Hollywood beginning at 6:45 p.m.

Allen will speak about her extraordinary career, the craft of editing and show clips from some of her movies. She’ll also take questions from the audience. Tickets are on sale now for US$8 each.
