Coastal Community Church in Coconut Creek, Florida to Hold Water Outreach

Coconut Creek, FL -- Coastal Community Church, a Christ-centered church located in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area plans to hold a community water outreach program on Saturday, May 8, 2010. Starting at 11:00 a.m., the event will involve the distribution of nearly 1,000 free bottled waters to residents of Coral Springs, Margate, Coconut Creek and surrounding areas.

“This is a great opportunity to show the community God’s love in a practical way,” said TJ McCormick, lead pastor and co-founder of Coastal Community Church.

“We will be distributing not only physical water, but also providing the opportunity for others to learn about the spiritual living water offered by Christ,” he added.

Coastal Community Church has already held several water outreach programs in the past and was able to see numerous lives impacted by this simple, random act of kindness.

The outreach will take place at the intersection of State Road 7 (US 441) and Wiles Road in Coconut Creek, Florida.

“As a new church, these types of events are great opportunities to let others in the community know about us and what we stand for,” said McCormick. “We invite those who want to participate to call our church office or visit our Web site to learn more.”
