Dow Corning to showcase oil and gas industry proven solutions at OTC 2010

Visitors to Dow Corning’s Booth 9349 (Hall D, Reliant Arena) will discover how Molykote® brand specialty lubricants and Dow Corning® brand severe-duty sealants can meet some of the toughest industry challenges from production through processing.

Technology specialists, informative displays and problem-solving demonstrations will highlight how these effective lubrication and sealant solutions for extreme conditions deliver equipment reliability, reduce downtime and increase output in offshore and onshore oil field operations.

Featured Molykote® Smart Lubrication™ solutions will include extreme-pressure greases, anti-seize pastes, anti-friction coatings, and silicone oils and greases. Hands-on demonstrations will show the reliability of specialty bearing greases in freezing cold and the value of using anti-seize pastes to aid assembly and disassembly of threaded connections.

Severe-duty Dow Corning ® silicone and fluorosilicone sealants being featured include pastes, coatings, form-in-place gasketing materials and hot-melt adhesives. A process video will show how silicone hot-melt adhesives can boost equipment assembly productivity.
