Tee-rrific New Limited Edition T-shirts from Tee-Wolf.com
Four entrepreneurs from London have launched an innovative website providing a platform for artists and graphic designers to make money by submitting their t-shirt designs to sell for limited periods.
London, England, 2nd May 2010 – Colin, Mike, Jon and Tom from the London area, have launched the website Tee-Wolf.com, dedicated to the art of t-shirt design. At the site, members can submit their designs, and discuss aspects of t-shirt design, printing techniques, or just make new friends. The Tee-Wolf website http://www.tee-wolf.com went live to an eagerly awaiting community on Sunday 2nd May 2010 and has so far been well received and the loyal fan base have been snapping up t-shirts featuring the launch design – Darth Wolf by Steven Tu.
Before the launch of the site, the four friends spent time seeking out artists, and graphic designers around the world, researching t-shirt printing methods and seeking out the highest quality t-shirts available. Their aim was to create a company that sells ultra high quality t-shirts, with outstanding limited edition designs and uncompromised service. This combined with interaction from its community if users, this provides a platform for designers to showcase their art
Jon, from Tee-Wolf.com told us that designs will be selected from the submissions through the website, and each week a new design will go on sale for seven days only. After the seven days are up, the t-shirt design will be taken off the website and will not be sold on the site again. Artists will receive £1 for every t-shirt sold, so if 1000 of the t-shirts are sold that week, the artist will receive £1000, and will retain all rights to the art work.
All t-shirts sold on Tee-Wolf.com will be 100% cotton and feature taped neck and shoulders, seamless collar and double needle stitching. “Along with the design on the t-shirt, the cut, fit and feel of the t-shirt is one of the most important aspects to the perfect tee, so we spent a lot of time looking for the perfect garments to compliment the designs” explained Colin.
Mike told us that t-shirt design is one of his greatest passions in life, and explained that the team are driven by their quest to find new cutting edge t-shirt designs and designers from around the world and showcase their talents.
