Geneva, Switzerland - The Annual Meeting of the New Champions, also known as the “Summer Davos”, will take place in Tianjin, People’s Republic of China, from 13 to 15 September. The Meeting is held in close collaboration with the People’s Republic of China and with the support of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

The meeting is the foremost global business gathering in Asia and provides a unique platform for leaders from business, government, media, academia and civil society to discuss the major actors and drivers of growth in the 21st century. Under the theme, Driving Growth through Sustainability, this year’s programme will focus on issues relating to energy efficiency, lower carbon emissions, developing green technologies and building critical infrastructure to assure sustainable development and create a new context for growth.
