Caesars Entertainment Introduces Exclusive Million Dollar Connection Progressive Slots; Machines Debut in Atlantic City; Mississippi and Nevada to Follow

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ -- 1/24/2005 -- In a continuing commitment to offer its guests premier gaming options with impressive payouts, Caesars Entertainment this month is debuting its exclusive line of Million Dollar Connection progressive slots.

The first 21 machines were unveiled earlier this month at Caesars Atlantic City and Bally’s Atlantic City (which includes the Claridge Casino). Another 80 Million Dollar Connection slots are set to make their first appearance later this year in Mississippi and Nevada.

The Million Dollar Connection slots were created exclusively for Caesars Entertainment by Bally Gaming and Systems (NYSE: AGI). The progressive jackpots begin at $1 million and accumulate across Caesars casino resorts within each gaming jurisdiction.

“This program takes progressive slot play to the next level for our valued and loyal guests,” said Dave Lyons, senior vice president of slot operations for Caesars Entertainment in Atlantic City. “The response from our guests in Atlantic City has been extremely positive and we think all of our guests nationwide will be eager to find these machines at our sister resorts in Mississippi and Nevada in the coming months.”

The new slots take their name from Caesars Entertainment’s highly successful “Connection Card” customer loyalty program, which offers players and hotel guests complimentary hotel, restaurant, entertainment and retail privileges at Caesars Entertainment’s 18 domestic casino resorts. Often compared to frequent flyer plans, the Connection Card program offers participants a bank of “Connection comp dollars” that can be used as cash to pay for meals, shows, hotel accommodations and other resort amenities.

“Connection Comp” dollars are calculated not only on slot machine and table game play, but also on hotel cash folio accounts - the amount hotel guests pay in cash or by credit card for their room rate, meals charged to their room and other resort amenities.

The Million Dollar Connection slots are three-coin, one-dollar machines with a $1 million progressive jackpot that uses EZ Pay technology. The Million Dollar Connection game uses the popular Monte Carlo top box bonus and a Cash-in-a-Flash bonus. When three coins are played and a “spin symbol” lands on the third reel, the player has received a Monte Carlo bonus game. In this bonus, players can spin the roulette ball to reveal their bonus prize amount.

When a Cash-in-a-Flash symbol appears on the third reel with three coins played, the player has received the Cash-in-a-Flash Bonus. In this bonus, there are 11 segments on the feature glass that display Caesars Entertainment properties. Each property has a value ranging from $20 to $1,000. The player can win the amount shown by the property.
