TestAmerica Speaks on Related EH&S Risks in Natural Gas Exploration at the 5th Annual DUG Conference

TestAmerica’s Dr. Jack Tuschall, General Manager and technical expert, will demonstrate the use of analytical strategies in mitigating growing environmental risks involved with natural gas explorations at the 2010 Developing Unconventional Gas Conference. The presentation will be given on March 30, 2010 in Fort Worth, TX.

Environmental concerns have heightened in the industry and within local communities as unconventional exploration activities have rapidly grown across the nation, mainly due to technological improvements in horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing techniques. In response to environmental protection issues and public responsibility, exploration firms have been looking for responsive support and analytical services in this area. Implementing a well-constructed analytical strategy is the primary premise in helping reduce the risks involved with exploration. Dr. Tuschall will present on the implicated environmental hazards, evolving regulatory scene, and challenges in analytical data reported from these hydraulic fracturing activities. Ensuring quality data deliverables will improve confidence in monitoring results, and promote positive public relations.

Dr. Tuschall has more than 25 years of extensive experience in managing full-service analytical laboratories and analytical methods development.
