New Canadian customer for Net Insight, Corus Entertainment has chosen Net Insight to build its media network

3/22/2006, The network will be based on Net Insight´s Nimbra platform and transport video, voice and data.

Corus Entertainment, a new Net Insight customer and one of Canada’s leading media companies, will use this technology to transport contribution quality video as well as support data VPN and voice connectivity among its television offices.

“Net Insight´s products fit well into several of our planned projects”, said Peter Crane, Chief Engineer at Corus Entertainment. “Given the synergies from using the Nimbra platform, I feel the system will become a very cost effective solution to suit our needs. We were also impressed by the ease that interface offered when provisioning the system paths”.

The media network solution will provide Corus with great network efficiency and flexibility in combination with low operational costs. Furthermore, the network guarantees 100% quality of service in all transported mission critical traffic.
