Sony’s Release of the Move Could Make Us One Step Closer to Releasing the PS4

WEBWIRE

Sony officially made its move into motion controlled video games and with that move, many believe they are one step closer to releasing the PS4.
The PlayStation 3 currently supports only seven Bluetooth ports which means if you use the new Move remote with a subcontroller, you can only play the game with two other people. The remote with a subcontroller is like the Wii nunchuk with joystick and will be essential for many games.
Many sources have stated, http://sonyps4.com included, that the Move will increase the need for a PS4. The PS4 might have more Bluetooth ports which means more people could play the games together.
Peter Dille, Senior Vice President, Marketing & PlayStation Network, said that Nintendo did a “great job in introducing motion gaming to the masses” and said that the Move is “revolutionary and a step ahead of anything in the marketplace. We’d like to think this is the next generation of motion gaming.”
The Move will allow the users to play the games as if they were part of the action. The eye camera detects the exact movements and location of the controller which allows people to act as the character. The Eye also has image and voice detection will allow for alternate reality games.
Sony’s Move system was unveiled Wednesday March 10, 2010 at the Game Developers conference. The system will arrive in stores this fall.
It will be available in a starter kit that includes a Move, a PlayStation eye camera, and a Move game.
