Kenexa Earns Prestigious Verizon Business Security Certification, for Eighth Consecutive Year

Designation Underscores Company’s Commitment to Secure Global Operations

The Security Management Program (SMP) is a comprehensive security assessment and certification program that validates an organization’s security posture. Kenexa has earned an enterprise certification, the most stringent level of certification offered by Verizon. It provides assurance that Kenexa has met or exceeded requirements in five important control areas: policy, human, physical, device and network. As part of its certification testing, Verizon Business examined, measured and validated Kenexa’s controls against the internationally recognized ISO 27002 standard.

Specifically, the certification demonstrates that Kenexa has properly documented and implemented information security policies, controls and standards; mitigated vulnerabilities on critical systems; addressed wireless and mobile device security; and put into place current e-mail filtering, anti-virus and authentication solutions.

Kenexa benefits from the most current version of the SMP, which is enhanced by a new risk- and compliance-management console for data synthesis. New features include ISO 27002 control validation and status reports, enhanced security control mappings and an updated compliance scorecard. With these enhancements, the console puts user-friendly analysis and reporting capabilities right at customers’ fingertips, enabling customers to better manage their security, risk and compliance posture.
