NDS to demonstrate new user interfaces and proven technologies at CSTB 2010

MOSCOW, RUSSIA – CSTB 2010 Hall 7, Booth 782 - NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, today announced that it will be showcasing a number of innovative new user interfaces (UIs) alongside its portfolio of proven solutions for the digital pay-TV industry at CSTB 2010.

The technologies on show range from conceptual UIs that incorporate widgets, to real-world deployments of NDS solutions on customer platforms.

Conceptual User Interfaces: Leading pay-TV operators around the world are deploying the industry’s most advanced EPGs and UIs with the assistance of NDS’ design and consulting services.

NDS Snowflake™, the award-winning user interface developed by NDS’ design studios is a prime example; its innovative design and approach to content navigation ensures the same look-and-feel on any device including TVs, PCs, iPhones, mobile devices and personal media players.

At CSTB, NDS will also demonstrate how it helps customers maximise the opportunities presented by the advanced features on hybrid set-top boxes. For example, NDS will highlight a UI that incorporates contextualisation, social interaction and search and recommendations.
