WEBWIRE

Oslo - EDB’s subsidiary Spring Consulting has entered into an agreement with Falck in Denmark to provide SAP-related services. The contract provides for Spring to take on responsibility for operations and the future development of Falck’s SAP platform for the next five years.

"Falck is a strategically important customer for us, and this contract demonstrates that we have the expertise necessary to service the entire SAP value chain in a group on such a large scale as Falck", comments Hans E. Fjeldstad, CEO of Spring Consulting.

"The deciding factors in our choice of Spring as our supplier were its high level of technical expertise in SAP, a high degree of flexibility, a strong operating services concept and attractive pricing", comments Torben Ruberg, Group CIO at Falck.

Migration and hosting of Falck’s SAP platform
Spring will be responsible for migrating Falck’s SAP solutions from the company’s current supplier. Its responsibilities will then extend to include applications management, development and operating services in collaboration with its parent company EDB Business Partner.

Expanded collaboration between Falck and Spring Consulting
Falck provides an extensive range of services in the areas of health care, safety and roadside assistance, and is represented on five continents. Falck’s activities are directed at preventing accidents and sickness and providing assistance in situations of emergency, accidents or need. The company uses SAP for a number of its core business processes.

"We have enjoyed good collaboration with Spring Consulting over a number of years in the payroll and personnel area, and we now look forward to expanding this collaboration into new areas", comments Torben Ruberg at Falck.
