Operitel Investments Announces new Equity Position in Sunbank Power

Peterborough, ON.: January 25th, 2010 - Operitel Corporation is pleased to announce that it has taken an equity position in Sunbank Power, a company launched specifically to help property owners navigate the complexities of the solar energy market in Ontario.

Under the rules of the recently launched Ontario Power Authority’s Feed in Tariff (FIT) program, property owners in Ontario are in a position to reap significant profits by installing solar systems on their land or buildings and selling the electricity generated back to “the grid” under generous 20-year contracts.
