Hungary: Home Guard is here! - T-Home has entered a new field in the market

“The new service surveys our homes by wireless radio communication and broadband Internet technology through the opening sensors and the installed motion sensor” - added Róbert Pataki, Chief Strategic and Business Development Officer. The central unit, offered as part of the service, communicates with the installed sensors, remote controllers and camera through safe wireless technology, furthermore, it is through the central unit that the information is forwarded to the user.


If someone tries to break into the apartment, the sensors will recognize the attempt and send the signal to the central unit, which will trigger an alarm immediately through broadband Internet: it will send a message to the specified mobile number or e-mail address, after that action can be taken quickly and easily, if necessary. The central unit has a back-up battery and GPRS connection, thus the system remains operational even if there is a power outage or if the Internet service provided on cable is down.
Home Guard is extremely easy to install, no trained technicians are required. The system can be expanded without restriction by new sensors, it can be extended and customized: the various tools can be purchased individually according to need, with the exception of the central unit. The opening sensor, the motion sensor, the remote controller and the camera are interconnected with the central unit by a wireless link, and the additional items can be installed without restrictions in the formerly purchased Home Guard system.


T-Home Hungary offers its Home Guard service with four plans (Basic, Small, Medium and Extra), with a commitment of one year: there are several options in the offer, from those for apartments under 40 square meters, bachelor apartments, all the way to apartments larger than 110 square meters. For example, the Medium plan, recommended for larger apartments in blocks of apartments made of brick or prefabricated elements (which includes, in addition to the central unit, 2 operating sensors, 2 motion sensors, 3 remote controllers and 1 camera), costs 7990 HUF in one-time connection fee and the monthly charge is 5590 HUF.
