DiGiorgi Introduces Energy Efficient Infinity Windows by Marvin, Eligible for Tax Credit

Low-maintenance Marvin windows are made of high performance glass and allow homeowners to qualify for up to $1,500 tax credit under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Infinity from Marvin windows offer high-quality LoE-366 glass to help conserve energy. Because all Infinity from Marvin products meet this high-performance glass requirement, consumers can qualify for the energy tax credit by purchasing any Infinity windows or doors. Infinity from Marvin windows have a U-factor of 0.30 or less and a Solar Heat Gain Coefficient of 0.30 or less, therefore qualifying for tax credit as defined by the Internal Revenue Service.

Consumers should keep their receipt with their tax documents and claim their qualifying purchase on their federal taxes for the 2010 tax year. The claim can be submitted on IRS tax form 5695.
