Applied Industrial Technologies Named to G.I. Jobs Magazine’s "Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers" list for 2010
CLEVELAND, OH (December 10, 2009) – Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT) has been named to G.I. Jobs magazine’s “Top 100 Military-Friendly Employers” list, an annual ranking that showcases the top 2 percent of veteran-friendly companies in the United States. The list is especially beneficial to those service members transitioning from the military.
Each year, the magazine highlights select companies based on criteria such as military hiring practices, Reserve/Guard policies, percentage of new hires that are veterans, and veteran training programs. G.I. Jobs compiled the list from more than 5,000 entrants. Only companies with more than $500 million in revenue were eligible to compete.
