SimplicITy Computers, the newly launched PC and operating system designed to help older people get online, is recommending customers use internet packages provided by Eclipse Internet.

The SimplicITy PC, which looks like any other desktop PC, has a user-friendly welcome screen designed to help those unfamiliar with using a computer to navigate themselves around their email and internet.

Eclipse Internet has been selected as SimplicITy’s recommended internet service provider following their positive experience with the ISP.

SimplicITy is recommending Eclipse’s Home Lite and Home Select services costing £11.95 and £17.95 respectively as being most suitable for their customers.

Nigel Houghton of SimplicITy said: “We were really pleased with the enthusiasm and professionalism displayed by Eclipse and have been impressed by their approach to customer service. These factors making them an ideal partner to work with. Their UK based call centre answers calls quickly and has a reputation for resolving any issues on that first call. That is ideal for everyone, but particularly those using the internet for the first time who may need a little extra assistance.”

Customers buying a SimplicITy computer will be sent information about Eclipse Internet’s services.
