INDIANTOWN, Florida, Oct. 27 2009 – General Aviation pilots can see an introduction to Emergency Maneuver Training. General Aviation TV On-Line (GATV) located in Ft Pierce, Fl., has completed a video featuring aerial maneuvers used to safely extricate an airplane from emergency situations. Filmed over the ocean shoreline above Ft Pierce, Florida in October 209, this video is meant to inform pilots about the availability and content of Emergency Maneuver Training. The video begins on the ground with a discussion about emergency maneuvers and concludes with video and audio from the cockpit during emergency maneuvers.

The GATV video is meant to be instructive to general aviation pilots, flight instructors, student pilots and other persons interested in flying airplanes. The video was produced as an opportunity for Dave East of GATV together with Jim Alsip of Dylan Aviation to educate pilots about the availability and importance of receiving Emergency Maneuver Training. Their message to pilots is that, in a flying emergency, he or she will react the way they trained.

During the video, Dave and Jim discuss the Emergency Maneuvers Training syllabus offered at Dylan Aviation Aerobatic Flight School. Jim Alsip makes the point that studies show almost all aviation loss of control accidents involve a turn; and so, The Emergency Maneuver Course begins with the anatomy of a turn, reviews several advanced flying skills and concludes with flying emergencies and best practices for the resolution of those emergencies.

At the conclusion of the video, Dave East and Jim Alsip encourage interested viewers to get more information about Emergency Maneuvers, Aerobatic training, Spin and Upset recovery or Tail Wheel training by visiting the Dylan Aviation web site. Dylan Aviation is located at Indiantown Airport (X58) Indiantown Fl.

The GATV video on Emergency Maneuvers can be viewed on line during the month of November at www.gatvonline.com. Dave encourages viewers to visit that web site frequently to see other features about general aviation. GATV can also be seen Wednesday nights at 10 pm on several broadcast channels that include channel 44 out of West Palm Beach and Miami Fl.
