BOCA RATON, Fla. — Aetna (NYSE: ΑET) announced that it has reached agreement with Boca Raton Community Hospital on a new two-year contract that provides access for Aetna’s Medicare Advantage members to the hospital’s facilities and physicians.

Under this new agreement, Aetna Medicare Advantage plan members will be able to receive covered services, at in-network rates, from Boca Raton Community Hospital and its affiliated physicians. “Boca Raton Community Hospital is pleased to expand our relationship with Aetna to include patients of Aetna’s Medicare program. We are delighted that these patients will be able to utilize the wide array of services we offer,” said Jerry Fedele, president and chief executive officer of Boca Raton Community Hospital. “From our comprehensive cardiac care to state-of-the-art cancer treatment, our hospital is committed to providing the highest quality healthcare to this community.”

Aetna provides health benefits to approximately 400,000 members in the South Florida area. Those members have access to a network that includes 57 contracted hospitals and more than 7,400 primary care physicians and specialists.
