Author and Parenting Guru, Lori Bergvall, Releases New E-Book

Lori Bergvall, known by parents and teens as ’Your Family Guru,’ has announced the release of her new E-book, ’How to Raise Teens and Have Fun at the Same Time.’ With over 100 pages of parenting tips and information, readers can expect to gain many practical applications that they can easily put into practice when dealing with children in their teen years. A mother to two grown daughters, Bergvall’s own experiences and how she worked through many common challenges for a positive outcome are a large part of this book.

When asked about why she wrote this book, Bergvall said, ’My career before working with families was as an operating room nurse, where I worked as part of a team. When I came home to my teen girls, we didn’t know the meaning of what working together was! I knew I had to come up with some solutions to get us through the teen years, and this book is the product of what I did and what worked to get my own family back on track.’

The E-book covers how to establish parent/teen communication, expressing emotions, the art of family meetings, setting expectations, better leadership, and understanding consequences. ’The E-book is a great starting place for families,’ said Bergvall. ’We, as parents, have so many dynamics to deal with, and teens have their own set of issues and challenges.
