AT&T Scores Two Atlantic-ACM Wholesale Metro Carrier Excellence Awards

AT&T* today announced that the AT&T Wholesale organization received two 2009 ATLANTIC-ACM Wholesale Metro Carrier Excellence Awards. AT&T was voted “Best in Class” in the categories of Brand and Network Quality.

The awards are based on the results of the fourth annual Metro Carrier Report Card, which evaluates the performance of metro carriers based on more than 1,300 carrier evaluations by wholesale customers.

The ATLANTIC-ACM Metro research is an industry-wide, survey-based study that

enables wholesale customers to provide feedback on multiple carriers in a variety of service and product categories, and on a variety of products. The awards are based on the average score

each carrier received for each service and product category. Awards were presented to the highest scoring incumbent and the highest scoring metro/fiber provider.

The study results will be included in the ATLANTIC-ACM Metro Carrier Report Card, which continues to succeed in capturing a valuable overview of the wholesale landscape from the customer’s perspective. The report card features wholesale customer ratings of carrier performance in metro-specific product and business relationship categories from the past 24 months of service.
