Private Debt Consolidation Company Partners With Non-profit

Indian Harbour Beach, Florida – A new counseling service that combines the best of the private sector and the transparency of a non-profit organization is now open for Americans who are over their head in debt and fearful of what is going to happen.

Their approach is that of a credit counseling service that handles debt consolidation and debt settlement by combining the best of the two worlds: the non-profit sector and the private sector.

In an online interview, owner William Chung said, “We are a private company advising a consumer who owes more debt than they can pay. We analyze each client’s situation and discuss his or her options. We charge a flat fee for enrollment that is paid from of the savings realized by the consumer when enrolled into a program. Furthermore, service fees are set by the state of Florida. Once we counsel a client and come to a mutual agreement as to the best action plan for handling their unsecured debt, we enroll them in the appropriate program which is administered by a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that has been operational since 2001. In this way, the consumer gets the best advice for them. Once enrolled, their program is being administered by a non-profit organization that will be there to see the client through until their debt is cleared up.”

The goal of most programs is to eliminate a consumer’s debt in 3 to 5 years depending on their situation. According to Chung, with the interest rates and balances most consumers experience today, it takes about 6 years to eliminate every $3000 in debt.
