Axis subject of patent infringement action in the U.S.

Axis’ wholly owned North American subsidiary, Axis Communications Inc., has been named as a defendant in a patent infringement suit brought in a U.S. federal district court. The patent suit was filed by Elbex Video Ltd. and is based on U.S. Patent No. 4,989,085, entitled “Apparatus for Remote Verification and Control of Close Circuit Television Cameras.” Additional lawsuits involving the ’085 patent have been filed by Elbex Video against other companies in the U.S.
