* The DTES-system
– a Deployable Tactical Engagement Simulation system. Recently ordered as an Urgent Operational Request by the UK Ministry of Defence as a part of a complete training service solution with full technical support for their pre-deployment infantry units in Belize and Kenya.
* The Smart MCM countermeasures solution
– a completely new flexible and scalable solution that will be launched at the DSEI exhibition. Saab’s Smart MCM (Safe, Modular, Autonomous, Remote controlled Technology for Mine Counter Measures) can be used for civil security operations as well as military operations. The modular design provides the ability to accomplish tasks such as protecting sea lines of communication, preparing for amphibious landings, post-conflict cleanup missions and, of course, various harbour protection scenarios, all using the same equipment – simply configured differently according to the task at hand.
* The Unmanned Airborne Systems (UAS) Skeldar, Neo & Coax
– three fully autonomous, mobile systems with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capability. Saab and Swiss UAV recently joined forces to develop this family of cost-efficient platforms. The systems’ modular designs make it possible to choose between different payloads and to easily adapt for future needs. The Skeldar Ground Control Station can be used for all three vehicles within the Saab/Swiss UAV VTOL UAS family.
* The leading Weapon Locating System (WLS) Arthur
– for manoeuvre forces and peace support operations. Arthur is a highly mobile and transportable medium-range WLS with radar, climate control and power generator integrated on a single vehicle.
