Hong Kong – Citi Securities and Fund Services, a division of Global Transaction Services, has been named the leading fund administrator in Asia Pacific by Global Custodian’s 2009 Mutual Fund Administration Survey. This year marks the fourth consecutive year Citi has been voted Asia Pacific’s leading fund administrator by respondents in this industry-leading survey.

According to Global Custodian, the results “speak of deep satisfaction and impressive consistency across a wide range of client types.” In Global Custodian’s most successful survey yet, the results in 2009 were framed by approximately 500 responses from investors globally and regionally.

As in previous years, respondents were asked to rank fund administrator providers across eight service categories: client service and relationship management, value, fund accounting and valuations, transfer agency, distribution support, portfolio servicing, fund reporting and compliance.

David Russell, Managing Director, Regional Head of Securities and Fund Services, Asia Pacific, Citi, said: “With each passing year, Citi raises the bar with the leading fund administration services demanded by the entire spectrum of the investor industry. Winning this prestigious client poll is an incredible endorsement of our experience, product innovation and continual commitment to our regional fund administration business.”

Citi Securities and Fund Services provides clients end-to-end fund administration services in 14 Asia Pacific markets for asset management firms, domestic and international, insurers, broker dealers, institutional investors, understanding of each segment’s specific requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their growing sophistication.
