Investment at TestAmerica’s Connecticut Laboratory Drives Expansion and Innovation

TestAmerica’s Shelton, Connecticut laboratory recently executed an extended lease renewal, ensuring that TestAmerica will be a long-term resident of the community.

TestAmerica’s investment in facilities is complemented by a parallel investment in new analytical equipment and information technology. In the past 12 months over $250,000 of capital has been invested in new instrumentation, expanding lab capabilities to better support the accelerated turnaround time needs of our clients.

A powerful addition to the Shelton operation has been the success of a highly customized, proprietary laboratory information management system (LIMS). Customers of TestAmerica’s Connecticut laboratory are now benefiting from greater reporting and data management flexibility and have been introduced to the latest release of TotalAccess, Version 3.6, an industry leading on-line project management software.

TestAmerica has also added two new service center locations with one in Boston, Massachusetts and also one in Albany, New York. These new facilities provide a localized presence to further assist customers with logistical support, sampling supplies and local project coordination adding highly demanded convenience to the overall TestAmerica service offering.
