TestAmerica Expands Suite of Analytical Services for Agricultural Pesticides

TestAmerica’s laboratory in Cedar Falls, Iowa has expanded its analytical capabilities to provide more comprehensive services for the evaluation of trace levels of agricultural chemicals and byproducts in environmental matrices.

Utilizing an adaptation of the current SW-846 8141 methodology, combined with techniques employed under method 8270C, the laboratory has developed an innovative analytical process with proven advantages including: extended target compound lists, better compound selectivity, improved accuracy, and a more rapid analytical process. Pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizers have long been used to protect and improve food production within the agricultural industry. Locations where chemicals have been manufactured, distributed and applied are often identified as areas of concern for soil and groundwater contamination. Risk evaluation efforts at these sites are being greatly improved through the use of advanced analytical techniques.

TestAmerica laboratories hold compound specific NELAC accreditation for agricultural chemical testing applications, providing accurate and defensible data results under a rigorous quality control program.
