Cash for Clunkers Sales Drive Record Sales at Acton Toyota of Littleton

The CAR Allowance Rebate System (CARS) is a government program that helps consumers buy or lease a more environmentally-friendly vehicle from a registered and participating dealer when they trade in a less fuel-efficient car or truck. Consumers have been rushing in to take advantage of this program and receive $3,500 or $4,500 as the trade value for the “clunker” when they purchase or lease a new one.
