Citi’s New Travel Cash Offering Enables Credit Cardholders to Enjoy Boundary-Less Travel

Hong Kong – Travel Cash (TC), a new exclusive Citi PremierMiles Platinum VISA Card reward, was launched by Citi Hong Kong in late July.

In addition to “evergreen miles” (i.e., no maturity-date for reward miles), Citi PremierMiles Platinum VISA Card credit cardholders can now also enjoy greater choice and flexibility in point accumulation and redemption. For example:

* Every HK$100 of card spend made by Citi PremierMiles Platinum VISA Card credit cardholders can now be converted to one TC unit
* Citi PremierMiles Platinum VISA Card credit cardholders will also gain double TC units when they travel and shop overseas

TC can be used to offset such travel-related expenses as travel agency or online booking fees (air, land and sea) as well as accommodation, shopping and dining when overseas.

Other benefits:

* With this new offering, travelers can redeem mileage points for tickets whenever they wish to travel (regardless of high or low season)
* Travelers using TC to pay for airfares during the low season can take extra advantage of lower cost fares
