EMSL Santa Clara Now A2LA Accredited for Microbiology

EMSL Analytical, Inc. is pleased to announce that its Santa Clara, California laboratory has received accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) Program for the lab’s mold testing services. This laboratory meets the requirements of the 2016 TNI Environmental Testing Laboratory Standard. This accreditation demonstrates technical competence for a defined scope and the operation of a laboratory quality management system. EMSL Santa Clara’s accreditation (Certificate Number 2845.50) has been approved for the following:

EMSL’s Santa Clara laboratory recently received their A2LA for Microbiology Certification #2845.50 and is now accredited to perform the following tests:

• Fungal – Direct Examination (Bulk)

MICRO-SOP-200 – Standard Operating Procedure for the Microscopic Examination of Fungal Spores, Fungal Structures, Hyphae, Pollen, Insect Fragments, and Fibrous Material from Surface Samples.

• Fungal – Direct Examination (Surface)

MICRO-SOP-200 – Standard Operating Procedure for the Microscopic Examination of Fungal Spores, Fungal Structures, Hyphae, Pollen, Insect Fragments, and Fibrous Material from Surface Samples.

• Fungal – Direct Examination (Air)

MICRO-SOP-201 – Standard Operating Procedure for the Analysis of Airborne Fungal Spores, Hyphal Fragments, Pollen, Insect Fragments, Skin Fragments and Fibrous Particulate by Optical Microscopy of Spore Trap Samples
