Vote for February’s Goal of the Month!

Eight stellar strikes across our men’s, women’s, and Academy sides are up for the prize of Chelsea’s Goal of the Month for February.

WEBWIRE

The month of February saw Chelsea score plenty of impressive strikes across the club with each team continuing their pursuit of success.

Our men’s side enjoyed victories over Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Leeds United while the women’s side continued their remarkable start to the calendar year with wins over Everton, Sunderland and Crystal Palace.

You can get involved by selecting your favourite from the eight nominations in our live poll (above). The winner will then be announced via Chelsea channels.

If you need a reminder of any of the goals before voting, check out the video below recapping the best from February.

Enzo Fernandez vs Aston Villa (A)

Our first entry this month comes from midfielder Enzo who produced a sublime piece of footballing magic, firing his free-kick into the top corner to secure our place in the next round of the FA Cup.

Erin Cuthbert vs Everton (H)

In a free-flowing, attacking move that began with the goalscorer, the likes of Fran Kirby, Sjoeke Nusken and Mia Fishel all got involved before Cuthbert smashed the ball into the net to give Chelsea a well-deserved 3-0 victory.

Tyrique George vs Crystal Palace (A)

An impressive finish that saw the young Blues confirm their place in the final eight of the FA Youth Cup, George picked the ball up roughly 25 yards from goal before wrapping his foot around his strike and sending it past the Palace goalkeeper in some style.

Mayra Ramirez vs Crystal Palace (H)

The fourth entry this month comes from versatile forward Ramirez who latched on to Ashley Lawrence’s cross, opening her Chelsea account with a special backheel-flick to beat the Eagles’ goalkeeper.

Conor Gallagher vs Crystal Palace (A)

One of four goals he scored during the month of February, Gallagher virtually won the Blues all three points against the Eagles when he converted a 90th-minute winner by sliding Cole Palmer’s low-driven cross past the Palace shot-stopper, before running towards the jubilant away supporters.

Raheem Sterling vs Manchester City (A)

Next up on the list is Sterling’s composed finish against his former club Manchester City. A well-worked counter-attacking move saw the ball played to Sterling, and the winger was calmness-personified as he flicked the ball past Kyle Walker before slotting into the far corner.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan vs Leeds United (H)

The penultimate nomination is a goal from the academy with Morgan’s deft flick earning Chelsea a share of the spoils against Leeds in the Premier League Cup contest that ended 3-3.

Nicolas Jackson vs Leeds United (H)

The concluding entry on February’s list is another from the men’s side as Jackson equalised against Leeds. With the ball worked between Noni Madueke and Moises Caicedo, the latter played a splitting pass towards the onrushing forward who converted from a tight angle.

The winning strike will be announced later this week via the Official Chelsea App, the club website and our social media channels.

Stay tuned and don’t forget to place your vote!
