You Can Now Link Your TuneIn Premium Account With Alexa
What’s Changing:
We are thrilled release a highly-anticipated update to the TuneIn Live skill for Alexa.
TuneIn Premium subscribers can now link their subscriptions with the Alexa companion app and start listening to live sports games, commercial-free news and more. This means Premium subscribers are also no longer required to pay an additional cost to play premium content on Alexa devices.
Why:
When we first launched the TuneIn Live skill in 2018, the skill ecosystem was not mature enough to allow for both account linking and skill subscriptions.
TuneIn Live was one of the first Alexa skills to use in-skill subscriptions via voice, and we are proud of the solution we’ve built with Amazon to deliver unrestricted premium content to our listeners.
