Danfoss Editron shines during the T50 Summit of World Construction Machinery Industry 2019

On September 3, 2019, the T50 Summit of World Construction Machinery Industry 2019 was held at the Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing Hotel. It was hosted by China Construction Machinery Association, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, and Korea Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association and organized by China Construction Machinery Magazine. This event has a history of ten years and has been successfully held for five times. With the growing development of China’s construction machinery industry and market, the industry participation in this conference has reached new heights. More than 700 people from the upstream and downstream sectors of the construction machinery industry, including OEMs, suppliers, agents, rental companies, and terminal customers, as well as those from industry associations and the media, attended the conference to share their views on the future development of the industry.

As a long-term strategic partner of the conference, Danfoss Editron brought with it the theme of Engineering Tomorrow, and actively participated in multiple important sessions, shared its ideas and actions toward the “new future” of the industry with the participants and audience, and presented its products and technical strength to the entire industry.

As the only senior executive from the suppliers invited to the main forum session of the conference, Zhou Shiping, President of Danfoss Editron China, said that Danfoss always regards China as the “second home market” and has always adhered to the principle of “in China and for China.” “We set up an application development center in Haiyan to develop more application solutions for Chinese customers two years ago,” he said. He also shared his insights about the future of the market. He said that electrification, intelligent solutions, and digitalization would certainly become significant trends of the construction machinery industry, and Danfoss Editron will play a critical role in the trends as one of the outstanding global leaders in the industry.  
 

Keynote speakers

Several parallel forums for the sub-sectors of the construction machinery were concurrently held during the conference. Liu Zhengfu, Director of Control Department of Danfoss Editron China and Pan Xiao, Senior Sales Director of Danfoss Editron China, gave a rousing keynote speech respectively at the 2019 Global Crane Summit and China Lift 100 Forum and 2019 World Access Equipment Summit and China Rental 100 Forum. Danfoss’s electric drive and hybrid solutions for cranes and its continuous innovation on aerial work platforms have attracted the full attention of the audience.
 

“Multinational Corporation Executive of the Year” award

At the Awards Dinner of the T50 Summit of World Construction Machinery Industry, Zhou Shiping, President of Danfoss Editron China who has been selected as one of the Top 100 influential people in China’s construction machinery industry, was awarded the “Multinational Corporation Executive of the Year” by the Organizing Committee. Zhou Shiping said that the award is the highest recognition and tremendous encouragement to the Danfoss Editron China team. In the future, the team will help propel the development of China’s construction machinery industry toward higher quality and higher value with greater enthusiasm, world-leading products and technology, and excellent service.
 

“Parts and Components - Solution of the Year 2019” award

Over the past five years Danfoss Editron, based in Zhejiang Haiyan Industrial Park where its global application development center is located, has continuously integrated its world-leading technology into China’s construction machinery industry and made significant contributions to the product improvement and technology upgrade of China’s construction machinery industry, earning wide recognition from OEMs both domestic and abroad. At the Awards Ceremony of the T50 Summit of World Construction Machinery Industry 2019, the Danfoss Editron Electrical Controlled Road Roller Solutions and the Danfoss SIFS System Solutions won the award of Parts and Components - Solution of the Year 2019. The representative of the top management of the OEMs personally presented this important award to Danfoss Editron, which shows the significance of the prize.
