Feelings of loneliness after the death of a spouse can be debilitating. And yet, the fear of meeting and forming a bond with someone new often prevents people from moving forward and finding a relationship again.

The Elizabeth Hospice is offering Relationship After Loss, a free workshop for widows and widowers, who are seeking answers to questions like “How will I know when I’m ready to start dating again?” and “Where do I go to meet someone?”

Relationship After Loss will meet on Wednesday, May 22 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm at the Murrieta Senior Center located at 41717 Juniper Street, Murrieta 92562.  Space is limited and attendees are required to register by May 17 by calling 760-737-2054 or emailing griefinfo@ehospice.org.

“Attendees will gain feelings of hopefulness in establishing relationships,” said Michelle Brown, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. “Everyone will  receive valuable information about re-entering the dating world and connect with others who are facing similar circumstances.” Brandi Garcia, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, will also facilitate the workshop.
