Engineering graduates rate Arup the Number 1 employer for 2019

Arup is the best employer for future engineers, according to a new Australia-wide survey of more than 2,500 graduates.

The graduates voted Arup as Number 1 for 2019 in the engineering consulting category after considering a range of criteria.

Induction and development programs, training, quality of work, remuneration, culture and work-life balance were reviewed by the graduates, who had worked with their employers for at least 12 months.

The national survey was conducted by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE).

Arup’s Regional Chair Peter Chamley said the firm values its graduates as the leaders of the future and invests in their development.

“We want them to build great careers by working alongside passionate experienced colleagues and constantly learning – in structured programs and through experience,” he said.

“At Arup, there are opportunities to make a real difference and we encourage our people to take them wholeheartedly, through our research and volunteering programs, and on game-changing projects around the world.” Peter Chamley Chair, Australasia Region

Arup is consistently recognised in the AAGE’s Top Graduate Employers list of organisations that provide a supportive, positive experience for graduates in Australia.

Applications for the 2020 graduate program open this week. More information about the experiences of Arup graduates, career opportunities and application details are available here.
