Pitter Patter Vance: The Dancing Unicorn of Tippy Top Mountain by Deborah Lane was one of the books featured by LitFire during the Frankfurt Book Fair 2017. The event ran from October 11 to 15, at the Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Being exposed to the selfishness around her and observing that the children she encountered lacked morals, coupled with her fondness for the holidays and unicorns, inspired Deborah Lane to write Pitter Patter Vance. The book showed that it is better to give than to receive—something that she believes in, as evidenced in the children’s book she wrote.

The book also talked about the value of genuine gifts from the heart as opposed to earthly possessions. It also touched on how rewarding it is to help people in need, which Deborah believes should be given to anyone every day.
