imaGenes Approved as Agilent Technologies Certified Service Provider

Following a stringent evaluation process, the Berlin-based microarray services specialist imaGenes was officially granted the status as an Agilent Technologies Certified Service Provider (CSP) for Expression Profiling Services, both companies announced today. The CSP status involves the appliance of the entire Agilent microarray workflow, starting from quality controls on Agilent’s bioanalyzer to Agilent reagents, data extraction and analysis software with Genespring GX, documenting high-quality results. imaGenes is offering its services in an ISO 9001:2000-certified environment.

imaGenes’ staff has many years of experience in microarray-based services. One of its core competencies is the establishment of customized solutions, e.g., optimized custom array designs, harmonization of array design, and labeling and hybridization strategy for individual projects as well as extended data analysis and linking of results to verified clone resources.

“The Agilent platform perfectly fits our customers’ requirements by providing flexibility and accuracy,” said Dr. Martina Schad, associate director Microarray Services of imaGenes.

“We’re pleased to welcome imaGenes as a Certified Service Provider,” said Chris Grimley, Agilent senior marketing director, Genomics. "We anticipate synergy between the Agilent microarray-platform and imaGenes’ Next Generation Sequencing service, bioinformatics offerings and corresponding clone resources.
