Alliance Helps Customers Optimize Data Archival, Address Regulatory Compliance Issues, and Control Associated Costs

The alliance is a key component for delivering StorageTek’s newly available Intelligent Archiving and Compliance Assessment services also announced today.

By combining StorageTek’s archiving and data management technology with Deloitte Consulting’s unique combination of advisory, consulting and implementation capabilities, the organizations will work together to implement StorageTek’s solution for clients’ records and information management requirements. The service offering aims to help companies not only to comply with corporate governance regulations, but also to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of information management.

Through StorageTek’s Intelligent Archiving and Compliance Assessment service, clients have access to in-depth, objective analysis of their business processes and data infrastructures to identify opportunities to control costs, improve data security, and help manage the risks associated with data retention regulations. The service is designed to help companies evaluate processes and controls within a company’s information infrastructure and help them take action to safeguard data and streamline operations relating to data storage.
