Applied Industrial Technologies Receives NorthCoast 99 Award


CLEVELAND, OH (November 10, 2009) – Applied Industrial Technologies (NYSE: AIT) has been named a NorthCoast 99 winner for 2009. This is the ninth time Applied has received the annual award that honors 99 great workplaces for top talent in Northeast Ohio.

As developed by the Employers’ Resource Council (ERC) in 1999, NorthCoast 99 nominees are judged on Seven Fundamentals of Workplace Characteristics: Flexibility, Opportunity, Recognition, Development, Security, Support, and Talent Integrity. Organizations must be in existence for at least three years and have a minimum of 15 full-time employees (or equivalent) to be eligible for the award.
