Automated Zero-D System Treats Wash Down Wastewater for Reuse

February, 2009 – Santa Barbara, CA - Natural Systems, a 15 year old company based in Santa Barbara, CA, is distributing a new fully automated wastewater treatment system called Zero-D for car and truck washing facilities that completely eliminates the need for disposal and associated fees and allows reuse of the waste water within the facility.

The Zero-D wastewater treatment and recycling system uses a proven and highly effective non-chemical electro-coagulation method eliminates heavy metals, oil and grease, TSS, COD, BOD, TDS, pesticides, herbicides, nitrates, e.coli, and other contaminants.

One of the primary components of the system is a fully automated Electrocoagulation unit, a technology that uses electricity to “shock” the waste water, breaking molecular bonds that bind contaminants to the H2O, allowing easy filtration and producing clean water for reuse.
