Rapid Sequence Anesthesia Solutions to Attend 2008 ASA Show

On October 19-21, Rapid Sequence Anesthesia Solutions will attend American Society of Anesthesiologists annual meeting in Orlando Florida. The Society, with more than 40,000 members, is an educational, research and scientific association of physicians organized to raise the standards of anesthesiology and improve the care of the patient.

According to Ellice Gerson, sales consultant with RSAS, the event is a major stop on the company’s show circuit. “Last year’s event drew more than 18,000 attendees, and we’re expecting another great turn-out in 2008, as well,” she says.

Rapid Sequence Anesthesia Solutions is a practice management agency for anesthesia providers. Along with providing “solutions” in staffing, credentialing, accounts receivables/collections, education/compliance – and more – the company recently introduced its own Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. It’s free to the company’s billing clients, and very affordably priced for purchase – about a third of the cost of other alternatives.

The Rapid Sequence software suite electronically captures “time stamped” data from all phases of the patient experience – pre-op to post-op. Anesthesia providers (plus hospitals and Ambulatory Surgical Centers) benefit in several important ways. Record-keeping duties during procedures are done much more quickly that hand writing, so more time is devoted to the actual care of patients. Chargeable items (drugs, supplies, etc.) are recorded much more accurately with complete legibility, so revenues are higher. The electronically-generated data leaves a much better audit trail. Compliance and quality assurance programs also benefit.

Gerson invites ASA show attendees to stop by booth 2620 to learn more about her company’s products and services. “You can get a first-hand look at our anesthesia software suite – it’s very powerful but amazingly easy to learn and use!”

She also reports that all billing clients (including those of other medical specialties) have the ability to monitor their receivable activities on a 24/7, real time basis. “Billing partners get the opportunity to keep better tabs on the business – at the medical facility, office, or home,” she says.
