Value of contract could reach $10.3 million if all options are exercised

VIENNA, Va. – AT&T Government Solutions has won a $2.7 million contract to upgrade and expand the web capabilities for the Dahlgren, Va.-based Naval Network and Space Operations Command (NNSOC), which is responsible for monitoring the Navy’s command and control communications networks worldwide.

The value of the 57-month contract could reach $10.3 million if all options are exercised.

AT&T Government Solutions, working with its small business subcontractor, Enterprise Data Solutions Inc., also of Dahlgren, will develop portals for existing websites that will enable users to update and view the status of the Navy’s C4I (command, control, communications, intelligence) networks.

In addition, the new site will collect data on network performance trends in order to help planners implement improvements. The site also will connect to other Navy network monitoring systems, giving users an overall picture of naval system capabilities.

“This contract is another example of the breadth of our IT capabilities,” said Lou Addeo, president of AT&T Government Solutions. “We’re delighted the Navy turned to AT&T when it needed a reliable, cost-effective IT supplier that has strong ties to small business.”
