Logic to Present at Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference in Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS – March 10, 2010 —Logic’s vice president of product design, Brad Löhrding is presenting at the Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference being held on Thursday, March 11 at the Minneapolis Airport Marriott Hotel. This presentation is free and open to the public.

Löhrding will present, “Making Technology Matter for Users – Continuous, Proactive Healthcare,” at 12:30 p.m. CDT. This session will explore the movement towards continuous, proactive healthcare that encourages individuals to take an active interest in their health. Technology products that support and encourage a healthy and sustainable lifestyle are effective only if they are adopted by users and seamlessly integrated into their lives. By applying lessons learned from the design of consumer products, Löhrding will explain how to create deep personal connections and promote change.

About the Speaker
Brad Löhrding has been with Logic for eight years and currently serves as vice president of product design. He is a product design and development leader with more than 20 years of broad experience in consumer electronics, communications, healthcare, e-services consulting and automotive industries. Löhrding has previously worked as both a corporate designer and a consultant in positions at Volvo, Motorola and Sapient. His specialties include: product design, industrial design, interaction design, design research, design management, innovation, product strategy, concept development, product development and user interface design. Löhrding holds a master’s degree in product design from Stanford University.
