Industry-standard LCD monitor in widescreen format

WEBWIRE

Siemens’ Industry Automation Division is supplementing its range of rugged industry-standard LCD products with the new 19-inch Simatic HMI SCD1900 monitor featuring widescreen touchdisplay. With a resolution of 1440 x 800 pixels and expanded 16:10 display size, this monitor offers more space for the visualization of automation tasks. The new monitor comes with a front in a high IP65 degree of protection and is suitable for industrial applications calling for direct mounting on the machine. The SCD1900 is equipped both with a VGA and a DVI interface. It can recognize the resolution of the operating screens coming from the PC and therefore eliminate the complicated setting of formats. For example, resolution formats are scaled automatically in the Vesa standard, say VGA, SVGA and XGA, and displayed correctly.
