Gartner Announces Winner of 2009 Wireless & Mobile Excellence Award


Royal Mail Honored at Gartner Wireless & Mobile Summit

CHICAGO, IL., Gartner, Inc. today announced the winner of its inaugural Wireless & Mobile Excellence Award. The award was given to Royal Mail.

The award, which honors an enterprise that most clearlydemonstrates excellence in their wireless & mobile initiatives, was presented during the annual Gartner Wireless & Mobile Summit, held this week in Chicago.

Companies submitted their applications for the Gartner Wireless & Mobile Excellence Award based on how an organization delivered business value, technical implementation and best practices in their wireless initiatives. Gartner’s wireless & mobile research analysts evaluated the applicants and selected three finalists who presented their case studies at the Wireless & Mobile Summit. Attendees then voted to select the award winner.
